Nonprofit Every Day Action Reveals Star-studded Line-up for Upcoming Recycle-ball Celebrity Gala
Cassandra Freeman, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Cheyenne Jackson are among the presenters and hosts of the Recycle-ball Celebrity Gala.
Los Angeles, Calif., April 16, 2024 – Every Day Action (EDA), a nonprofit that aims to eliminate food waste and fight hunger by redistributing unused meals from film and TV sets to unhoused communities across Los Angeles, has revealed its star-studded lineup for the 2nd Annual Recycle-ball Celebrity Gala. Taking place April 27, 2024, the sold-out event will bring together a host of actors including Troian Bellisario (Founding EDA Board Member), Barrett Foa (EDA VP and Founding Board Member), Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Cheyenne Jackson, Daniela Ruah, Renée Felice Smith, Jack McBrayer, Jason Landau, John Tartaglia, Christopher J. Hanke, Rosanna Pansino, Dan Perrault, Spencer Garret, Al Mitchell, and Brett Tucker.
Actress Cassandra Freeman will host the evening, accompanied on stage by award-winning actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Ferguson will be presenting Every Day Action’s inaugural Heart of Humanity Award to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for a variety of social services across the United States. Actor and singer Cheyenne Jackson will accept the award on the organization's behalf. Celebrity attendees will join the 150 ticket holders for an evening of old Hollywood glamor and philanthropy.
While seats for the evening are sold out, interested parties can still engage in the experience virtually by tuning in to Every Day Action's live broadcast on Instagram. Additionally, the public is invited to download the Auctria app and engage in the live and silent auction launching April 22nd. Proceeds will directly support Every Day Action’s goal of combating food waste and hunger in Los Angeles.

The Recycle-ball will kick-off at 6 p.m. on April 27 at Intercrew LA, located at 3330 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles. The Auctria app is available for iOS and Android devices.
