Every Day Action is quickly changing the conversation around food waste in Hollywood. Currently starting our fourth year of operation, we reallocate around 60,000 meals a year from Santa Clarita to San Pedro from TV/film sets, select grocery stores, corporate offices, festivals, events, and more. 

Our reallocators are a team of both independent contracts and volunteers. Most days we have 2-4 independent contractors and 1-4 volunteers on the road. Our Film Industry Driver Program is where most of our funding goes and how we are able to save so much food daily. We are proud to provide employment opportunities to background artists and production assistants when in between jobs as our reallocators. 

While we never want to turn a donation down; we are unable to continue to grow beyond serving 15 pickups a day with our current funding. We are trying to keep up with the growing need within our city to fight hunger; aiming to raise over $500,000 in 2024. We currently cover a 90 mile radius every day and save anywhere from 1,500-5,000 meals a week. Imagine the impact we could make together with more full time employees on the ground and more internal support for our organization to grow.
