Barrett Foa
VICE PRESIDENT, FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER & VOLUNTEER
Born and raised in New York City and currently residing in Los Angeles, Barrett has been in close proximity with unhoused people as far back as he can remember . Best known to audiences as Eric Beale on all twelve seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles, Barrett has witnessed countless tons of food go to waste on various TV sets throughout his career.
That is, until Every Day Action was born.
As a Broadway theatre actor he’s worked closely with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS for over 20 years which gives millions of dollars in grants to help feed people. Other charity work includes The Actors Fund, National Breast Cancer Coalition, The Trevor Project, and GLSEN, and PAWS/LA. As vice-president of the board, he is thrilled to be helping Every Day Action maximize Hollywood sustainability while minimizing hunger amongst our unhoused brothers and sisters.

Greer Cunningham-Pattison
TREASURER & FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER
I consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to be of service to others. It is unconscionable that so many Americans - including, at times, family members and friends - experience food insecurity, when there is no shortage of food in this country. I feel that the ability to feed yourself and your children should be a basic human right, and all it takes is for us to make the decision to care for our neighbors!.
-
Will Sandercock
SECRETARY, FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER & VOLUNTEER
Everywhere I go in Los Angeles, there are tents and people living on the street and it’s clear that we have failed so many people in this city. Our fellow citizens deserve better. Everyone needs to ask themselves what can they do every single day to help those around them who are in need. By answering this question, I truly believe we can solve this crisis together.
-
Troian Bellisario
FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER
I have been so fortunate and blessed in this world, that to see a neighbor in need is a call to action. Working on set is the perfect opportunity to share resources. There is an abundance of food, and at the end of the day what is unused is scrapped and wasted. If we can reallocate that unclaimed, perfectly good food, why wouldn’t we? I want to help change this standard in our industry. Waste less, help more. What’s not to love?
-
Hillary Cohen
FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER & VOLUNTEER
As a DGA assistant director, the transition from independent film production to union television sets was a disquieting adjustment for Hillary. Bearing witness to the unbelievable amount of food being thrown out each and every day was shocking. After years of being told "No," Hillary teamed up with her friend and co-worker, Sam Luu, to create Every Day Action.
Now, those leftover gourmet meals don't go into a dumpster, they go into the mouths of people who need it to survive. She is proud to be part of the active change that reduces food waste and helps feed our unhoused communities.
-
Alix Foedisch
BOARD MEMBER
Alix has been working to assist the unhoused community since a young age, inspired by her father who has dedicated over 2 decades to help provide food and housing to people in the San Francisco Bay Area. While working at a production facility on Alameda Street in DTLA, Alix found it frustrating and depressing being required to throw away excess food while there were communities of people hungry and struggling directly across the street. “I feel honored to be a part of the encouraging and necessary mission of Every Day Action and I am immensely grateful that people have this option to give rather than to waste.
-

Sam lives and works in Los Angeles as an assistant director. Volunteer and humanitarian work has been a part of her life since high school from volunteer work at her local soup kitchen, volunteering abroad, and joining the Big Brother Big Sister Program.
